The Brain Wave Center has provided a bilingual psychologist to assist with our growing list of clients needing diagnostic services. It also allows us to address the needs of the Hispanic community as we were previously unable to do. The relationship between Easterseals SWFL and The Brain Wave Center is a valuable partnership for our local and surrounding communities. As a result of this partnership, many children in our community can receive medical diagnoses, thereby attaining access to services and care they never had before.

Dr. Brianna Marrero, Psy.D., LMHC – Psychologist
Dr. Brianna Marrero is a licensed psychologist, specializing in pediatric psychology. She is bilingual (English/Spanish) and works with children, adolescents, and their families in Sarasota and surrounding areas.
Dr. Brianna Marrero is a Certified Autism Specialist (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES)) and has developed a passion for working with children; particularly those experiencing conflict, mood disorders, and disruptive behaviors.
Dr. Brianna Marrero has also had extensive training working with the parents, teachers, and families of these individuals. Dr. Brianna Marrero has an array of experience diagnosing ADHD, Autism spectrum disorders, and learning disorders as well as providing treatment for depression, anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders. She has gained experience in a variety of multidisciplinary settings such as community mental health centers, hospitals, and private practice.
