Neurofeedback Technician

Kate is very well rounded when it comes to working with young children and adolescents with spectrum disorders as well as processing deficits.  As a neurofeedback technician, she has first-hand experience with brain health, personally living with deficits of her own.  She founded the Youth Reading Enhancement and Development program at the Sarasota YMCA in order to mentor children in phonics and reading skills. She recruited reading specialists to evaluate children for learning disabilities, and assessed reading levels in order to tailor the program to individual needs.  Kate has a passion for holistic health and wellness, and is currently in school working on completing her ASN in nursing, and hopes to specialize in holistic medicine.  To date, Kate has also become an ambassador for The Brain Wave Center, bringing her story to the general public.
